    huh?

I'll be sticking with the original wattle yellow, just so i dont have to repsray everything. If i was goign to change colour I would get candy apple green on joachims mk 1, but I dont' have the time, tools, space or money to do a full respray. I'll do it one day, if i keep my car for a long time.

    joachims mk 1:

It just happens to be my fav mk 1 I've ever seen.

    spose that makes sense then.

I don't know about making it look easy. It's a fair bit of work, but I'm rushing is a bit, as dad's been away for 2 weeks, which meant I could have the garage to paint and work on it, but he's coming home tomorrow.. o oh..

The concept is simple, but practice makes perfect and what not. I need to vaccum the garage now tho, cause it's REALLY dusty.. oh well
Mind you this wont come out perfect, but it's my first paint job and car (modified) for that matter, so I'm still proud as punch. Unless it turns out real crap. then i wont be so happy.

wet sanded the bonnet before, and sanded down the whole car with 320 grit. still have to wetsand with 600 before colour, but before that I have to fix the door and a few other minor things

    the bonnet:

I'm not that happy with how it turned after after the wetsand, so i might do it again, it did get rid of a few bubbles and stuff that was there tho

who can geuss the secret mod in this pic??? (josh you're not allowed to say n: )

hate to aswer for Jarred here, but seeing as im there more often than not....

yup the doors being raised, few more spots need to be hit with high fill by this ugly "monkey", then we can paint it by the looks of things its going to come out nice!

then its onto my car so we can get them both ready for Nats!
